Job Title: Director of Event Management
Position Overview:
The Director of Event Management will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of all events hosted by the organization, ensuring they align with the mission and goals of the non-
profit. This role requires a highly organized and creative candidate who can manage all aspects of event planning, from concept development to post-event analysis, while engaging with the community and maximizing the impact of each event. The Director will work closely with
internal teams and external partners to deliver successful events that raise awareness, engage stakeholders, and support the organization’s efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Strategy and Planning: Develop and lead the execution of an annual event calendar that aligns with the organization’s strategic goals, including community events, fundraising galas, workshops, and other special events.
Event Coordination: Manage all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, vendor negotiations, budget management, scheduling, and staffing to ensure seamless execution of events.
Community Engagement: Foster relationships with community members, local businesses, and other stakeholders to ensure their involvement and support in events, enhancing community participation and awareness.
Volunteer and Staff Management: Recruit, train, and manage volunteers and event staff, ensuring they are well-prepared to execute their roles effectively during events.
Marketing and Promotion: Work closely with the Chairperson and/or communications team to develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies for events, including social media campaigns, press releases, and outreach efforts to attract attendees.
Post-Event Analysis: Conduct thorough evaluations of each event, gathering feedback from attendees, volunteers, and stakeholders, and using this information to improve future events.
Budget Management: Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective planning and execution while meeting the financial goals of the organization.

The Director of Community Outreach & Engagement will play a pivotal role in advancing our organization’s mission by building strong connections within the community and enhancing engagement with our programs. This position requires a passionate and strategic candidate who can drive initiatives that foster community involvement, expand our reach, and amplify the impact of our work. The Director will collaborate closely with the Chairperson, program teams, and external partners to develop and implement outreach strategies that resonate with diverse community members.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Outreach Planning: Develop and lead the implementation of outreach strategies that align with the organization’s mission and goals, focusing on increasing community participation and support.
Community Relationship Building: Establish and nurture relationships with community leaders, local organizations, businesses, and other stakeholders to identify and respond to community needs.
Program and Event Coordination: Design, organize, and execute community-based programs and events that promote the organization’s services, raise awareness, and foster community engagement.
Collaboration and Partnership Development: Identify and cultivate strategic
partnerships with local nonprofits, schools, government agencies, and businesses to enhance community outreach and collaborative efforts.
Public Relations and Communications: Work closely with the communications team and/or chairperson to create and distribute outreach materials, including newsletters, press releases, social media content, and other communication tools to engage the community and stakeholders.
Volunteer and Staff Leadership: Supervise and mentor outreach coordinators, volunteers, and interns, ensuring effective execution of outreach initiatives and fostering a supportive team environment.
Impact Measurement and Reporting: Collect, analyze, and report on outreach activities and their impact, using data to refine strategies and demonstrate the effectiveness of the organization’s community engagement efforts.
Advocacy and Representation: Represent the organization at community meetings, public forums, and events, advocating for the mission and values of the organization.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed to attend community events and meetings.
Willingness to travel locally as required supporting community outreach efforts.
